The Directory of Social Change's searchable website of 490 companies, which includes full details of the various giving methods, a description of what the company is prepared to fund, charities the company has supported in the past and full contact details.

Carry out research into the "social and environmental impact of large corporations, particularly multinationals". Have a clear axe to grind against those they investigate, but the website has a very useful selection of company profiles. They also have a comprehensive DIY Guide on how to research companies, which makes for fascinating reading and has some very useful tips, but do be aware that it is now several years old and some of the information is out of date (e.g. regarding directors' home addresses).
